About The Tree
1. When do you put up the
Christmas tree? Normally, we put it up the first weekend of
December, around Lisa's birthday. Alas, this year we had to forego
the thing, what with the impending move and all.
2. Real or Fake? Our
trusty 12 year old fake tree. It cost a lot of money back in 1990,
but has withstood the test of time.
3. Lights? Multi-coloured
mini lights. LOTS of them.
4. Garland? Have
you ever tried to pull a strand of garland from a cat's ass?
5. Theme or No theme? You
mean, besides Christmas?
6. What kind of topper?
We have an angel, who sadly short-circuited the other year and now
stands guard holding unlit white mini lights.
7. What's your favorite
ornament? A black
& white cat dangling from a fish bowl and hanging on for dear
life.
8. What does your tree skirt
look like? Crumpled
up in a pile and shot across the floor in random directions, due
to feline activity.
9. Where do you put your
tree? In the living
room.
10. Who decorates the tree?
I put it together
and fluff out the branches to get it as realistic looking as possible.
I feed the lights to Lisa, who hangs them. We both hang the ornaments.
11. What's "under" the tree?
Usually a sleeping
cat.
12. Do you put candy canes
on your tree? Yes,
but strategically placed to avoid feline intervention.
