Sam: October 27, 1989 - April 15, 2002 - Will update soon. Just not ready to write yet. Thanks to everyone who sent their thoughts, love, prayers and support Sam's way.

One draws comfort from the oddest places at times. Right now the song "They Can't Take That Away From Me" is bouncing around my head and making me feel, if not better, at least more secure knowing we gave Sam the best life any cat could wish for.

The other thing is a brief scene from the M*A*S*H episode Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler. In it Captain Chandler, who believes himself to be Jesus Christ, is about to board the evac bus when Radar has him bless his teddy bear. Radar asks Chandler "Is it true that God answers all prayers?" Chandler replies "Yes it is. Sometimes the answer is no."
